Dayton Diggers
Went to the dayton digger meeting and Betty and I joined along with Roger , Mailman , and Rogers friend Jack. They have a hunt coming up in April down in Virginia. Will post more on that Monday evening.
It has been a long day with hitting two young deer on the way back. Both deer were killed plus the front end of the pickup.

Re: Dayton Diggers
Got an estimate today $8036 my boss was fine with every thing until I gave him that. Was mostly a put on but some times he acts like it comes out of his own pocket. I thought that's the reason we carry insurance!!

Re: Dayton Diggers
Glad you and Betty are ok, Bill said to tell you it is a lot cheaper to get a 2 seat ladder tree stand $125.00, shot gun $200.00 +, slugs $4.00-$20.00, hunting gear $200.00, so with Bills math he estimates around $600.00 and I added $40.00 for deer tags to keep Bill out of jail. LOL
Hope everything turns out ok with you and your boss.

Re: Dayton Diggers
One of the deer was still alive in the ditch and trying to get on to its feet. It was eventually shot by the first deputy on the scene, while the other lay in the road and was run over by three more vehicles before he put a flare near it.

No didn't get any shirts doesn't look like we can make the trip with everything that is going on at work. I was told not to plan any time off for the next 120 days

Re: Dayton Diggers
I finally figured out how to use the new board. I was very sad when the deer hit the truck and then the officer had to shoot one. I told Kevin we hit the deer because at the Buckeye meeting I ate Don's potroast and later I found out it was deer meat. I will never eat any kind of meat at a pot luck again until I know for sure what kind of meat it is. No offense to you deer lovers out there-it's just not for me
