How many thousand of pennies have you found since you guy's started last September?

As of last night, our penny finds are at 5,276 for this year. Last year we found 2,309..so that's 7,585 total. We've more than doubled & tripled some of our coins finds this year compared to last year, but last year everything we found was during a 3 month peroid, Sept. to Dec. We still have 2 more months to keep adding to those totals. If I could detect like I did before this medical nightmare hit me, I've barely done any beeping since June, our totals would be so much higher but I keep getting out there trying

That's some really good finds!! I may just buy me one of them there machines and add something to my bucket list of fun things to do! Where do you usually hunt??? I hope your feeling good and getting back on your feet!!!

We hunt mostly the various parks around Columbus and State Park beaches but also friends yards, fields, businesses..anywhere we can get permission to beep. I was suppose to have another procedure right after Gold Rush Days was over but that get delayed till I'm healed more from the abdominal surgery. I have good days and bad days but keep pushing on...I love life too much to sit here in the house and let the medical issues keep me down. As long as I take it slow and easy, it's not too bad but when I start getting dizzy/lightheaded, I just sit down wherever I am and rest, wait for it to pass and get back up and go again. After they get all this internal stuff taken care of, they'll be able to address the heart damage, it's frustrating but one day at a time. Hillbilly and Mudpatty set a goal of one freakin ounce before the season is over, they've inspired me to set my own personal goal...to be back in the freakin creek prospecting by next spring!!!!

I'm totally impressed with your detecting treasures. We're going to have to use ours a lot more! Get better soon and good luck with all your goals.
